Zenith's thoughts about The Soul
Here's Another Blog Post Featuring Zenith's views. This post is from a few weeks ago when I and Zenith were discussing what a soul might be.
The concept refers to a certain type of data, a certain type of information and that information exists, no matter if you try to change the meaning of the concept...
Who are we?
Remove our past experiences, memories, lessons, personality, beliefs, remove everything from this life and you end up with blank slate, the concept of the soul assumes some kind of characteristics to that slate, that being said, would that still be you?
In this context 3 things happen
1: something goes through a process that makes it lose a vast amount of information experiences, awareness and characteristics
2: you are born with barely any inheritance from that something
3: you die and that something regains all the things it momentarily lost + new data and experiences
Then the cycle resets
That something is different from you
All those things momentarily lost are giant amount of data from hundreds of lives all different from yours, every second of them, every experience, every memory, every information, all of them make a huge difference, calling that something you is like considering your great grandfather as yourself because you have some genes in common with him..
All you are is one second on the clock, and when the time passes, you fade away and another second appears in your place...
Just because you are on the same clock as it, doesn't make that next second you...
Also why would that something choose A over B?
because it has reasons to
That being said, those reasons rely on the rules of the system...
A and B are just factors that are part of it, the downsides and advantages of choosing one over the other are part of the system, the reasons to choose one over the other are part of the system too, along with the karma factor, how it works and that something and its options are part of it as well.
So then
If everything depends on the system, if the system is a creation, wouldn't everything ultimately come down to the creator/creators of that system?
